Tampax Pearl Plastic: Awesome Tampon

Pros: leak guard braid, smooth aplicator, tampon molds to body
This tampon is one of my favorites. I've never had any leaks with it and the aplicater in really smooth which made insertion easy. The leak guard braid was amazing, no other tampon has that. The absorbency is really good and the tampons its self molds to your body when is inside you so it's super comfortable. The only problem I had was that it was a bit uncomfortable to remove no matter how full it was, but everyone is different. Overall I absolutely love this tampon, I especially like the the scented ones. The fresh scent smells so good and makes me feel cleaner when I'm on my period!

I've been using "Tampax Pearl" (plastic) tampons for about three years know. I prefer the regular (unscented). This is the best tampon ever created. It's so much better than worrying about a crazy mess of flow with pads. With "Tampax Pearl" tampons; you feel clean, fresh, and plugged. That's the point of it... This can be worn when jogging, exercising, swimming, ETC... What can you not do with them??? Thank You so much Tampax Pearl for your successful tampon, it gives me reassurance every time "the time of the month" roles around. Keep on producing and selling; b/c your tampon will never get old to me; well maybe when i hit menopause :) ha ha ha

I am like everyone else. I've used other brands for whatever reason but or the past 3 years I've stuck to Tampax Pearl. ONLY Pearl, not even the regular Tampax. The Pearl brand is amazing. I never leak, they are really comfortable and I also love the fact that the paper wrap isn't there so it's impossible for the wrapper to break in my purse. I can never feel that I'm wearing one. Amazing! I'm even skeptical to try the new Radiant beause I'm so hooked.

I have recently been using the pearl tampons, and I must say that they are amazing! They are very easy to insert, protect for long hours ( work-outs, school, work).
I can totally rely on these amazing tampons at all times of my period. I no longer check the back of my jeans after I get up to see if I have any "spots". I know that these tampons are doing their job, while I do my things. I am looking forward to try new products by tampax.

One major flaw

Pros: plastic applicator, great outer wrapper, great absorption, no leaks
Cons: difficult to insert, messy to insert, uncomfortable
Great plastic applicator. Great wrapper design that doesn't open in your purse. Great absorption with no leaking.The one major flaw is that it's way too difficult to insert far enough. If it's not in far enough, I can feel it and it's uncomfortable. If I do manage to insert far enough, I have to get really messy fingers . This does not work in a public restroom!! I was dreading having to change my tampon because it's such an ordeal. Unfortunately, my first try was with the purchase of a huge box at a warehouse. Don't buy.

Worst Tampon I Ever Used!

The worst tampon I ever used!!! First of all, they are uncomfortable because of the 2 way expand design. The applicator is more comfortable than the tampon itself. Second of all, they failed me all 3 times I used them and I had to use extra protection to help with the leaks. I went to kotex sport because of these.

This was first time ever using a tampon, and I was surprised how it didn't hurt at all! The tampon itself was really sleek and was smooth, so it made it less uncomfortable.

I've tried pads, menstrual cups and other brands of tampons, but the Tampax Pearl line is the only one for me. They have the best absorbency, the best protection against leaks and they are the most comfortable. As a woman with a heavier period, Tampax's products are the most reliable for keeping Mother Nature from ruining a nice white skirt or pants and that's a freedom I wouldn't have without my Tampax.

I like how easy they are to insert & the plastic shell of the tampon is so smooth & easy to use & how well they work to prevent leaks. Pearl Ultras are my top choice for when I need a heavy tampon

I used to wear pads because the cardboard applicator hurt. I tried the TAMPAX PEARL and cannot express how I felt. The freedom it allows is fantastic. THANK YOU!!!

I've been wearing tampons for 16+ years and NEVER had a problem with leakage... until I tried these new Pearl tampons (purchased with a buy 1 get one free coupon... so I gave it a try), thanks for ruining my favourite PJ pants...
Not to mention the awful plastic applicator, way too much waste! Go back to the paper applicator and wrapper, something that at least breaks down, reduce our waste please!

Why Fix Something that Wasn't Broken?

I HATE the pearl products. They shouldn't just expand in 2 directions but in all directions- that would only make sense. I've been using Tampax products for 10+ years and never had any issues with protection until the new pearl line came out. The worst part is that Tampax is pushing these so much that nobody carries the old fashioned cardboard applicator ones anymore.

This product seems to be pushed at every opportunity - one store near me doesn't even carry any of the other tampax products right now. It's really no different than the others, but worse from the flushables, since these are totally not environmentally friendly. I won't ever buy these again.

I have never used the regular absorbency tampax pearl tampons but i have used the compak ones and that was a huge mistake....I am writing this review on the tampax pearl lites. The tampons are good for light periods and I haven't had any problems with them. They feel comfortable and do there job it seems...so yeah lol. That's all I have to say.

I was at Target the other day and buying tampons . I was reaching for the Super plus and right by was the Ultra . Well I have to say I was excited . For a woman in her 40's going through cycle changes the Ultra tampon is great for heavier periods .... Best purchase !

I've loved this tampon for numerous reasons. 1) I was terrified of tampons for years. This was the first one I tried and now it's all I ever use. 2) I've used other tampons (generic, ones on sale for cheaper, etc.) and they have ALL leaked on me. I've never had that problem with these. A+++

So I just bought a combo box of Super Plus, Super, and Regular. I was very mad to find out that the box was filled with only 8 super, and 28 regular instead of getting 8 super as well. I even double checked the box to make sure I didn't accidently grab the wrong one. But no, it was the right box.
